Help in Lake County, checked before you call

My husband James served in the Army. He kept watch for his country. Now I keep watch for my neighbors: finding the help that works and putting it in your hands.

Why this exists

The lists people rely on are out of date

When we checked Lake County's public resource lists against each organization's own website, we kept finding numbers that had changed, offices that had moved and programs that had ended.

Why "Kept Watch"

Nobody in Lake County should have to go it alone

James served. Since losing him, I've seen how hard it can be to find help in our own community. So I'm keeping watch: I check the numbers, gather the resources, and bring neighbors together.

It started with a list. It's growing into drives for food pantries, veterans' families and animal rescues, run with local partners, with every dollar going straight to them.
